Meanwhile ‘Nuclear Danger Denial’ seems to be lead by writers for the Guardian:
- “In fact, the disaster shows how safe nuclear reactors actually are” – Dr Melanie Windridge in the Guardian
- “The unpalatable truth is that the anti-nuclear lobby has misled us all.” – George Monbiot in the Guardian.
BUT: Chernobyl involved 1 reactor and 150 tonnes of Uranium, while Fukushima has 4 reactors and nearly 1200 tonnes of Uranium + Plutonium and Fukushima knows what else.
AND:
“We have borne the risks, co-existed and flourished with Tepco for more than 40 years, and all these years, we have fully trusted the myth that nuclear plants are absolutely safe.” – Katsuya Endo, the mayor of Tomioka.
It’s a clusterfukushima for sure.
